Videstra Vestraview can accept one or 100 cameras with the same in-house infrastructure. DIY is often implemented with a one-to-one camera/decoder implementation that puts additional decoder and video hardware into the broadcast plant every time a new camera is deployed. This approach consumes unnecessary infrastructure resources like router ports and rack space that Videstra does not. Worse, many DIY solutions employ scan converters and daisy-chained hardware with numerous complicated failure points.
